WORSHIP

The congregation at Parkway normally comes together in the sanctuary to worship on Sunday mornings at 10 am.  A nursery is provided for infants and toddlers.

For those months with a 5th Sunday, we gather in the Fellowship Hall for a different worship and fellowship experience.

Worried about what you should wear?  Don't be.  Come as you are comfortable.  You'll see people dressed in suits or dresses or jeans or shorts.  Dress up.  Dress down.  Don't let your clothes distract you from hearing God's voice.

Will you be asked to give anything?  While Parkway does receive an offering each week as a sign of our gratitude for what God has given us, don't feel pressured about giving.  Let the Holy Spirit be your guide.

In worship we seek to hear God's voice speaking to us.  We listen through the reading of scripture, through preaching, through prayer, through music, through fellowship and the sacraments.  We worship in a style that could be called relaxed traditional.  Music is piano or organ led with songs from Glory to God, the PC(USA)'s new hymnal.  Guest musicians and a weekly choir bring different musical styles to our worship from classical to contemporary.
